Honestly, this is shaping up to be a good game. Both teams are heavy on starters and are coming into the contest with .500 records.
Padres should pull this one out with some home-field advantage on their side.
San Diego wins 5-4.
On Thursday, manager Mike Shildt said third baseman Manny Machado would DH on Friday. He isn't in either lineup.

Shildt told reporters that Friday was "a bit of a coin flip," and they feel better with him getting more work in the cage than two or three at-bats in the game.
