In an announcement on social media, the Wizards confirmed the development and highlighted that Coulibaly is dealing with a right wrist fracture. Apparently, the 19-year-old suffered the injury during their recent game against the Chicago Bulls.

The Wizards already have a treatment planned for Coulibaly, but with just 14 games left on the season, the team noted that it’s unlikely for the rising star to return and finish off the campaign.

“Official: Bilal Coulibaly will miss the remainder of the regular season after being diagnosed with a right wrist fracture. The injury, which will be treated conservatively, was suffered when Coulibaly fell during the game on March 16 at Chicago,” the Wizards said in a statement.
